Matific will start on 22nd March 2019 with further start dates throughout the year for part-subscriptions (dates to be confirmed).

NCHENZ is excited to bring Matific to our members as another maths option. Our subscription price for one year is $30/student. This includes access to all grades and the Parent Dashboard where there is a comprehensive reports interface which provides details about your child’s progress and information such as topics covered, how they have fared on every topic and the progression since they started. This app is for ages 5-13yrs.

You can access grade based demo games on the website. The link also provides an overview of content covered for each area. Matific is supported by Apple, Android and Windows.

The subscription will begin on 22nd March 2019 and run until 21st March 2020. If you subscribe after this date we can add additional students at a pro-rata price (end date of 21st March 2020 will remain the same no matter when you start).

Payment will be due at least two days before the start date to allow time for setup. Late enrolments cannot be accommodated.

Refund policy:

As there are demo games for this program, the NCHENZ policy is not to give refunds if you change your mind after making payment unless there are exceptional circumstances. If you feel you have exceptional reasons for requesting a refund, please write to the NCHENZ Committee at and they will consider your request. NCHENZ will have paid the supplier for your subscription so any refund is dependent on NCHENZ being able to ‘re-sell’ your subscription to another member. This may not be at the same price you paid for the subscription. In the case where a refund is approved, the amount will depend on the ‘re-sale’ price and the price NCHENZ paid the supplier for the subscription. Any refund will be paid to the original payer only and a NZ bank account number must be provided. An administration fee of $5/subscription will be deducted from all refunds.

“My children have really enjoyed it! They love that it’s more like a game with challenges rather than just achieving points and certificates(which feels more formal). Each of my children felt that the level of maths was appropriate for them, they were able to achieve goals but felt challenged at the same time.”

“I really like the games and the option to put the level up if they are keen to progress. I think it also gives a progress report which is useful.”

“…it’s very visual and he understood the instructions. He had no problem doing the exercises on his own.”

Please note:

While NCHENZ is appreciative of being able to offer a reduced Matific subscription to members, please note that this should not be seen as an endorsement or promotion of the program. We offer this as a service to our members simply because the opportunity has arisen and we think our members will be interested.
