Extensive Research Tool: NatGeo Library

posted in: Member Services | 0

Imagine having access to almost 130 years of National Geographic articles, images and videos … We are so pleased to have negotiated access to the National Geographic Virtual Library – including the National Geographic magazine, National Geographic Kids, and National Geographic Traveler. You can search by magazine, article, image, topic, date, books, maps, and even advertisements. This is a fantastic resource for research. Younger kids get their own area of National Geographic Kids with videos, pictures, books, and magazines – all searchable if looking for a particular topic or theme. Please note, this is an entirely online resource; not print magazines. New-release magazines will appear in the virtual library one month after coming out in print form.

A subscription to this extensive online resource is currently $15 per family, access expires 24th July 2017.

Late subscribers are able to access a pro-rata price as follows:

  • Join to start any time during Term 3 2016 for $25
  • Join any time during Term 4 2016 for $20
  • Join any time during Term 1 2017 for $15
  • Join any time during Term 2 2017 for $10

The expiry date will be 24th July 2017 no matter when you start.
